Jack Dangermond


A landscape architect by training, Jack Dangermond founded Environmental Systems Research Institute (Esri) in 1969 with a vision that computer mapping and analysis could help us design a better future. Under Jack’s leadership, that vision has continued to guide Esri in creating cutting-edge GIS and Geodesign technologies used in every industry to make a difference worldwide.

Jack fostered the growth of Esri from a small research group to an organization recognized as the world leader in GIS software development. Esri employs 2,700 people in the U.S.; many who shared his passion for GIS in the early days are still with the company and remain dedicated to helping our users be successful.

Vice Admiral Robert D. Sharp, USN


Vice Admiral Robert Sharp is the seventh Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). VADM Sharp leads and directs NGA under the authorities of the Secretary of Defense and Director of National Intelligence.

Vice Admiral Robert B. Murrett, USN (ret.)


Vice Admiral Robert B. Murrett is a Professor in the Department of Public Administration and International Affairs and Deputy Director of the Syracuse University Institute for Security Policy and Law. He is also a faculty member at the Forensic and National Security Sciences Institute and on the Board of the Institute for Veterans and Military Families.

David Cattler


David Cattler is NATO’s Assistant Secretary General for Intelligence and Security. He took up his post on 2 December 2019. He ensures the NATO intelligence organizations operate as an enterprise to meet the challenging demands of the Alliance. He also is the senior advisor to the Secretary General for intelligence and security matters.
