About Christian

Christian Kray is a professor in Geoinformatics at the Institute for Geoinformatics (ifgi), University of Münster, Germany.  He obtained his PhD from Saarland University, Germany, in 2003. Since then, he has worked in research and teaching in the UK (Lancaster University, Newcastle University) and in Germany (Saarland University, German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence, University of Münster).  His research interests include human-computer interaction with spatial information, location-based services, smart cities as well as reproducibility and transparency in research.  Currently, Chris is involved in two large international training networks at the PhD level (GEO-C and DCOMM) and in one Erasmus-Mundus European Master programme (GeoTech).
