Esri Services appointment types

Esri's people-focused adoption strategy consultants can help you achieve the rate of adoption needed for maximum impact. Meet with a consultant to discuss options to deploy an adoption strategy that builds a strong foundation for sustained organizational change and innovation with ArcGIS.

Prior to the appointment, we’ll ask that you provide an overview of your current GIS initiatives or projects.

Get expert advice and feedback on your existing or planned enterprise implementation, including Esri architecture best practices. Leave with recommendations for meeting your system or solution architecture needs.

An Esri architect will work with you to address needs in a selected architecture topic, providing recommendations and considerations for next steps.

Architecture topics include the following:

  • Architecture Assessment: Receive a high-level review of your existing or planned architecture and discuss opportunities to better meet current and future requirements.
  • Migration Considerations: Discuss your current deployment and explore options for a cloud or on-premises new target environment.
  • Maintenance and Operations: Discuss and consider post-deployment best practices such as performance management, testing, and monitoring.

Prior to the appointment, we’ll ask that you provide

  • Your current/planned architecture diagram.
  • Your migration plans.

A key element to maximizing the impact of GIS for your organization is developing and executing a geospatial strategy. Do you understand your organization's business challenges? Do you know how GIS, mapping, and location intelligence can support those challenges? Meet with Esri experts to review where you are today and learn how GIS can help your organization meet its goals by developing and executing a geospatial strategy.

Review current geospatial strategy in the context of people, processes, and technology by doing the following:

  • Discussing business challenges, success criteria, and future goals
  • Discussing the current state of GIS technology
  • Performing a high-level review of the current state of your GIS technology and inventory (business, data, applications, infrastructure, and people)

Prior to the appointment, we’ll ask that you provide

  • Your business goals and objectives.
  • A list of your key initiatives and projects (geospatial and non-geospatial).
  • Your current business and solution architecture.

If available, other relevant details include the following:

  • A workforce development plan or training plan
  • A current work plan or project plan
  • An organizational chart

Meet with an Esri consultant to discuss how developing a geospatial governance can help you align your business goals with your IT systems. Leave with an initial assessment and recommendation based on your structure, policies, procedures, and use of tools and technology today.

Prior to the appointment, we’ll ask that you provide:

  • Your organizational structure
  • Current policies and procedures
  • Current governance and/or strategy document

Meet with an expert to determine the best approach to creating solutions that meet your business and user needs while considering technology constraints and IT policies specific to your organization. This consultation will evaluate which blend of commercial off-the-shelf and/or custom components will work best for you, helping you navigate Esri’s offering of web, desktop, and mobile applications; extensible application builders, APIs and SDKs; and SaaS, PaaS, and enterprise deployment patterns.

Prior to the appointment, we’ll ask that you provide:

  • Your business goals and objectives
  • A description of the problems you’re trying to solve
  • Your current solution architecture (if applicable)

Meet with an Esri training consultant to analyze how current workforce roles align with your organization's mission and GIS-supported business goals.
