Aziz Bakkoury joined the ArcGIS Urban team at Esri last year, working as a technical consultant. He has over 17 years of experience in the GIS industry in both the private and public sectors, focusing on urban and transportation planning. Prior to Esri, Bakkoury was working with the Los Angeles City Planning Department as the GIS team lead for the Transit Oriented Communities Program. This program focused on helping the city understand its capacity to provide housing around the transit-served areas within the city. At Esri, Bakkoury's responsibilities include consulting and project management on the 3D/smart cities team. He also provides support under the Esri Enterprise Advantage Program (EEAP) as a technical adviser and is responsible for implementing ArcGIS Urban and other solutions for customers to help them with their urban planning process.
