Chris Rehak has worked in the GIS field for eight years since graduating from East Tennessee State University, where he majored in geography. He is currently pursuing a master of science degree in GIS from Johns Hopkins University with an expected graduation in May 2020. His expertise combines cartography, spatial analysis, and modeling with hands-on practical experience from working at the National Park Service and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). He has an extensive technical background and possesses the ability to use his experience by combining spatial analysis and remote sensing techniques toward applications in spatial ecology. Chris plans to continue developing his capabilities in the field of geospatial data science by exploring spatial and predictive, analytics, visualization, big data technologies, and enterprise GIS administration. In his free time, Chris enjoys birding, hiking, camping, and exploring the great outdoors.
