Claudia Anderson has more than 19 years of experience in GIS analysis, project management, and system administration. She’s worked extensively in electrical transmission/distribution line siting and permitting, oil pipeline spill risk assessment, natural resource damage assessment, visibility analysis, and mine permitting. The Environmental Services Business line previously recognized her as a Subject Matter Expert in GIS, where she served on a GIS support team that ensures high quality GIS and data management.
She also has more than 14 years of experience as an environmental specialist and a successful record in research, scientific data collection, analysis and writing. She has made written contributions to various National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents and has worked closely with the US Forest Service, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, and other federal and state agencies, local governments, and utilities.
She is currently the Service Delivery Manager for the Environmental Services Business line at Stantec, which is part of the company’s Practice Technology group within IT. She is leading the effort to deploy ArcGIS Enterprise for Stantec employees around the world. She has a B.S. in Environmental Studies from Utah State University.
She enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, and gardening with her backyard chickens.
