Devin Lavigne, AICP LEED-AP, is a nationally recognized innovative leader in the field of urban planning, with special expertise in urban design, physical planning, graphic communication, development visualization, and GIS. He is the cofounder of Houseal Lavigne Associates, a National Planning Excellence Award recipient. Lavigne has directed more than 150 plans, using groundbreaking techniques and approaches. He is a regularly featured speaker at national and state conferences on topics related to innovation, GIS, geodesign, maps, development visualization, graphic communication, innovation, urban design, and ethics. Lavigne is an adjunct lecturer at the Urbana-Champaign and Chicago campuses of the University of Illinois, instructing both graduate and undergraduate students in the subject area of urban design, planning visualization, and GIS.
