Esri is committed to protecting the health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, presenters, and staff. We follow the established protocols from the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and ask that all in-person event attendees do the same. Esri will continue to assess the evolving public health guidance regarding large gatherings and adapt accordingly. These guidelines are subject to US government and local rules and regulations.

We encourage each individual to make informed decisions about attending our events in the best interest of their health as well as the health of others.

In-person attendance recommendations

Currently, based on government guidelines regarding COVID-19, vaccination or a negative test result and masks are recommended but not required.

  • Masking

    Esri will follow local regulations regarding the need for attendees, exhibitors, presenters, and staff to wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth while indoors. If masks are required, they will be available at the registration desk.

  • Cleanliness guidelines

    Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the event areas and in the Exhibit Hall. Wash hands often with soap for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer before and after touching shared items.

  • Illness

    Attendees, exhibitors, presenters, and staff should not come to event activities if they feel sick or exhibit symptoms of illness. For more information, review the CDC guidelines.

Common questions

We are working with our partners to ensure that CDC-recommended cleaning protocols are followed during this event and high-touch surfaces are thoroughly disinfected.

All attendees, exhibitors, presenters, and staff should do the following:

  • Avoid attending the venue if experiencing any flu-like symptoms
  • Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
  • Engage in additional responsible health and safety practices whether on or off the event premises
