William Priest was appointed a director in the Cabinet Office and CEO of the newly formed Geospatial Unit in February 2018. He is a member of the Geospatial Commission, an independent, cross-government agency that will set policy for and drive the United Kingdom geospatial agenda.
Priest has over 20 years of executive experience in the IT and telecom sectors. He has held leadership positions with a number of leading global ICT service providers and worked for leading management consultancies. He is a chartered civil and water engineer and has worked in many countries on development projects for the World Bank and the CDC Group.
