Alison Rose joined Esri in January 2018, after 18 years working within the geospatial-intelligence community, in both the public and private sector. Her most recent appointment within the Australian Department of Defense was as Assistant Secretary Professional Services, leading the implementation of defense’s enterprise information, human resources and corporate ICT programs. Prior to this, Alison was Assistant Secretary GEOINT Foundation and Support with the Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation (AGO), where she led foundation mapping, advanced analytics, GEOINT training and tradecraft, customer services, collection, and data management. Alison held a series of executive appointments with AGO covering support to military operations as well as corporate enabling functions with AGO. Previously, she worked for Esri Australia in professional services and business development. Alison started her career as a geospatial analyst with AGO, having completed a Bachelor of Science (Resource and Environmental Management) majoring in remote sensing, GIS and pedology.
