About Prabhjot

Mr. Prabhjot (Prab) Bajwa is currently assigned as the Chief of the Information Technology Directorate at the El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC). In this position, he provides executive leadership to approximately 80 interagency personnel that contribute to national security by facilitating interagency intelligence collaboration and information sharing that supports law enforcement operations. 

Mr. Prab Bajwa is currently serving as a Section Chief with the Drug Enforcement Administration assigned to EPIC. During his current term at EPIC, he has delivered numerous capabilities which span from the new mobile ready EPIC Portal, federated Identity Credential Access Management(ICAM), in-memory Business Intelligence, award winning Geo-Spatial Intelligence, cutting edge security implementation, 3-D enabled National Seizure System mobile site and EPIC’s de-confliction hub. His previous government career includes serving as the program lead for various technical initiatives at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) - Headquarters and the National Protection Program Directorate (NPPD) Cyber Security & Communications. He headed Department level efforts involving streamlining the Agile development methodology for DHS. He spearheaded large DHS acquisitions which included the DHS Private & Public cloud and US Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) identity management procurements. He chaired various high visibility initiatives including the Technical Working Group at DHS and the Agile IPT which provided direction to all DHS HQ projects. He managed all custom application development at the DHS HQ's Enterprise Systems Development Office which also included mobile application development initiatives. He led federal government wide information sharing efforts like Identity Credential Access Management (ICAM), Portal, Cross Domain Solution (CDS) and FISMA Security Compliance projects across all 3 classification fabrics. He coordinated these development efforts across different DHS components and federal Departments/agencies. While he was with Booz Allen Hamilton, he led major IT development efforts for Joint Chief of Staff at Pentagon, DHS Immigration & Customs Enforcement and the National Science Foundation (NSF). He was the key contributor towards the first IT federation initiative within the entire federal government at NSF. His knowledge of telecommunications was very instrumental while he was the service owner for 13 critical managed services for AT&T Bell labs.


Mr. Bajwa has an engineering background and received his Masters of Science in Information Systems from Clarkson University, NY. He has received numerous IT certifications and has been highly recognized at his prior and current work place.
