Lightning Talks

Not quite as fast as lightning, but these talks are designed to be quick — five-minutes to be exact. Give a presentation about a GIS application, tool, or integration that has helped you with your ocean work. Our committee will evaluate your abstract and make selections based on relevance, content, and time available. All authors will be notified after the selection process.

The deadline for Lightning Talks submissions is August 31, 2018. Please include the following:

  • Your full name, title, organization, email address, and phone number.
  • Your final Lightning Talk slides or video: PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezi, Reveal.js, or video.
  • A short description of your talk (500 characters or less).
