Haley Sevening, AICP, is a planner III for the City of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Having graduated from the University of Minnesota with degrees in both urban and regional planning and public health, she is passionate about supporting quality-of-life improvements to build healthy, active, and resilient communities.
Sevening’s work at the City of Cedar Rapids focuses primarily on long-range planning. She’s recently worked on the City’s Community Gardens in Parks Plan, Rockford Road Micro-Area Action Plan, Greenway Parks Plan, and updates to the City’s Trails and Bikeways Plan.
Outside of work, you’ll likely find Sevening on the volleyball court, reading, or watching competition reality TV.
