ASC FACILITIES:
Ambulatory surgery centers are modern healthcare facilities focused on providing same-day surgical care, including diagnostic and preventive procedures.
There are more than 8,300 ASCs in United States, and according to IBISWorld they currently employ about 185,000 people. (https://www.ibisworld.com/industry-statistics)
According to Global Market Insights, (https://www.gminsights.com/industry-analysis/us-ambulatory-surgical-centers-market#:~:text=The%20market%20for%20ambulatory%20surgical,%25%20CAGR%20over%202021%2D2027.), these facilities had a market size greater than $16 billion in 2020 that is expected to grow to $43 billion by 2027.
Driving economic growth for ambulatory surgery centers is a growing population of elderly patients with chronic diseases within the United States. Furthermore, services provided by ASCs pose less risk of infections to patients compared to hospitals, which is also helping to drive economic growth in this sector.

“MCH Strategic Data works with the CDC Foundation and Esri to relaunch its COVID-19 map”
PRESS RELEASE article: (5/13/21)
When the COVID-19 pandemic began to impact schools in the United States, MCH partnered with Esri, the global market leader in geographic information systems, to provide a free data resource for anyone interested in the rapid changes and impact of COVID-19 on school reopening plans and operations at the school district level. This resource, first launched in August 2020, quickly became a valuable tool utilized by hundreds of stakeholders nationwide, including researchers at universities such as Johns Hopkins, Harvard, and MIT; governmental agencies such as Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and The U.S. Department of Education; and was featured nationally in publications such as The New York Times, The Washington Post and Forbes.
Now MCH is working with Bay Park Data Solutions (an Esri Silver Business partner) to provide data.
