The solution allows airport staff or others to easily input airport obstacles and analyze their impacts to the airport environment through an easy-to-use, web-based tool accessible through ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise. This solution enhances airport safety, communication, and decision-making for all of your airport’s obstacle analysis needs.
With the Airport Obstacle Analysis Solution, you will be able to:
- Access and explore high-resolution imagery and elevation data on and around your airport.
- Create and edit obstacle and attributes using easy-to-use drawing and editing tools.
- Perform obstacle identification and evaluation based on the FAA’s Part 77, Airport Design Standards, TERPS criteria, as well as state and local standards.
- Visualize and analyze obstacle effects on your airport’s airspace, runway protection zones, and instrument flight procedures.

The Airport Obstacle Analysis Solution is subscription-based and includes the development of airport and airspace surfaces for a single airport that have been verified by RS&H’s qualified and experienced Aviation Planning Team. It also includes 40 hours of support service, including user training and usage guidance.
