HERE Premier 3D Cities is a premium content product offering detailed, customizable and interactive representations of city centers.  HERE Premier 3D Cities is valuable to multiple industries and markets.  With a simplified view of the real world, it can be used to enhance navigation and applications requiring 3D visualization as well as help drivers make better decisions in complex situations. It can help with urban, smart city, and telecommunications network infrastructure planning, emergency response Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) related planning use cases, simulations, GIS applications involving pt-pt measurements, ray tracing, and view shed analysis, act as a ground obstruction map, for UAVs/aerial drones, and as a 3D canvas of the real world.  


Features and Benefits

Manually curated, detailed and accurate with quarterly updates that includes 3D Landmarks, 3D Buildings, Carto, and DTM.  It also supports an optional road furniture layer for 3D objects such as trees/tree canopies, and pole objects (utility poles, streetlights, and traffic light poles). 

  • Data efficiency – Every square kilometer is stored in small data sized 3D tiles and can be streamed and rendered efficiently. 

  • 3D terrain model -- this integrated feature provides elevations for representative z-level depictions of a city’s layout. 

  • (relative) geospatial and geometric precision to sub-1m level -- the centroids of 3D buildings and the geometry of 3D building objects precise to 1m or less. 

  • Indexed downtowns – Detailed 3Dmodels of key global city centers where each object is its own separate standalone digital volume and addressable.
