ICEYE’s Flood Insights Product is the world’s first consistent, near real-time
source for flood observation data. Our data layers are used across a wide
spectrum of operational and financial use cases, including but not limited to
rapid situational awareness, sizing event losses, communicating with affected
policyholders, allocating resources for event response, claims triage and
processing and supporting risk-transfer of flood exposures.
Owning the world’s largest Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) constellation, we
empower the re/insurance industry to make better and timelier operational and
financial decisions about managing and responding to natural catastrophe
events. ICEYE’s satellites can see the world under any conditions, including
through darkness, clouds, volcanic ash and smoke.
The Flood Insights product combines ICEYE’s SAR satellite imagery with an
abundance of third-party data, algorithms and machine learning, supported by a
team of experts from the fields of meteorology and advanced geospatial
analytics. Depending on the individual needs of each customer organization,
ICEYE's actionable output of flood depth and extent data is now available to all
Esri software users through ArcGIS. This integration provides tools for data
capture, analysis, and sharing, enabling detailed spatial analysis and real-time
visualizations to improve response capabilities and operational awareness.
