CHA Integrated Solutions (CHA) brings to the operator an enhanced MAOP Calculator for onshore steel transmission pipelines that supports federal requirements. Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure (MAOP) is the maximum pressure that can be safely operated by a pipeline. Use our MAOP Calculator for validation and reconfirmation to improve the overall integrity of pipeline systems.  It can be used for natural gas transmission pipelines, compressor stations, regulator stations, isolation valves, and other critical facilities.

The MAOP Calculator has a robust reporting engine that allows engineers to quickly view all the input criteria for the calculator as well as the ability to view results of each phase of the calculation process. Reports can be produced in Excel for further review and can include a comprehensive summary section that details the limiting factors for the selected pipeline. Reports are formatted to follow the American Gas Association recommendations.

Users appreciate how the MAOP Calculator for ArcGIS Pro can flag potentially non-compliant pipe segments and fittings both graphically and tabularly; making it easier to identify risk. This MAOP Calculator is fully integrated within Esri ArcGIS Pro, which makes it database agnostic, and can be used on any data source that can be loaded into ArcGIS Pro.
