- Amid statewide redistricting efforts, Georgia’s Elections Division needed to ensure that their 8 million voters were correctly matched with their new voting district. The Redistricting Quality Assurance Tool was developed as a secure, online solution to verify voter registration system data and validate new district assignments both at the state and county levels. To support this effort, Blue Raster:
- Developed a well-defined, repeatable process for mapping registered voters,
- Used spatial analysis to vizualize voter data and district assignments
- Provided both visual (maps/Dashboards) and data exports (CSV, Excel) enabling
- Election Officials to correct inconsistencies
- Fulton County, Georgia
- With Fulton County’s abundant population, election officials needed a method to efficiently track and report voter validation for redistricting efforts at the House, Senate, Congressional and Municipal level. By collaborating with Fulton County’s Elections and GIS teams to define data processing and geocoding workflows, Blue Raster:
- Developed an automated processes to identify voter records needing review
- Created a series of web applications to interactively monitor review progress
- Reported actionable biweekly results to Fulton County Officials
