On top of traditional Professional Services Onneer also provides two off the shelf service packages; The Enterprise Snapshot, and Enterprise Pulse: Enterprise Snapshot: The Enterprise Snapshot is designed for small agencies or GIS deployments just beginning their journey to maintain, align, or grow their capability. The snapshot is a process that provides a high-level view of your system’s architecture, its usage and how it aligns with core business objectives. It will provide a snapshot of this environment and, in a five-page report provide some immediate recommendations or considerations to continue your business progression. These considerations may include things such as: - general advice on hardware specifications - general advice on business processes - general advice on focus areas - an overview of GIS capability in reference to the corporate strategy. Through this report, a GIS manager should have the required tools to kick off projects or justify further spending as there will be enough initial information to argue a business case for GIS and its relevance to the corporate goals
Enterprise Pulse: Enterprise Pulse is a comprehensive review of existing GIS deployments to provide organisations an understanding of their system from a business and technical perspective. The Enterprise Pulse is delivered in two distinct parts, the Baseline and the Pulse. The Baseline is the first stage which establishes the current state of your environment. This is followed by the Pulse which ensures the ongoing continuity and improvement of your system. The Baseline is a structured, multi-day engagement which involves the review of your GIS deployment by a GIS technical expert and GIS business expert. This will review your deployment’s alignment to corporate objectives and user stories and their requirements, the technical infrastructure, and the software capabilities against your organisation’s needs. The Baseline will set the bar for the current state of the system and is finalised in a digestible report containing all relevant information found during the engagement. The recommendations and comments will center around technical and business aspects of the GIS deployment and propose timelines for when these should be completed. A baseline review should only be required once a year to re-establish its relevancy and check-in on previous recommendations or align to new business goals. However, it can be completed as often as required by our customers, or after significant changes to the system to ensure relevancy. The Pulse is a faster more focused approach aimed at reviewing the technical status of your deployment. This is for a technical expert to check on the system, conduct any upgrades, and dedicate time to answering technical questions or helping deliver GIS products within the time allocated. At the six-month mark, the Pulse will include a review by our GIS business expert of your business goals and objectives outlined in the baseline review to capture the progress and report back on the status. The Enterprise Pulse provides you a holistic view of your current system from a team of GIS experts who understand the business impacts and technical needs of running and sustaining an effective GIS. This is especially applicable to organisations which have a larger GIS footprint as these systems can become harder to manage and monitor. The Pulse will not replace the need for a day-to-day GIS administrator but more helps realign the system and documentation for the GIS Administrator to ensure they are on the right track and provide helpful recommendations to continue the effective use. The Pulse review enables a GIS team to gain an understanding of their system, be able to develop dedicated advice on their specific system and know how to best administer it. In short, the Enterprise Pulse will allow your organization a cost-effective way to maintain its system with advice and help from Esri experts, ensuring it can maintain a release ready status at all times.
