SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS
GSI Distribution Design Studio (DDS) is a comprehensive software solution that improves the design process by combining robust GIS/CAD rendering and editing capabilities with GPS/GNSS and intuitive, efficient toolsets to streamline electric and gas workflows, reduce design cycle times, and share design information with internal and external systems (such as GIS, WMS).
DDS incorporates end-to-end electric and gas line design workflows, generates necessary reporting outputs, and includes comprehensive engineering analyses including: structural analysis, clearance analysis, overhead profile view, electrical analysis, underground cable pulling/pushing, and optimization. DDS also supports analysis of Joint Use Attachment requests and their Impact on clearance, and structural calculations.
GSI Forester is a vegetation management planning solution that can be implemented in a variety of ways for electric companies. Our system can be implemented for a variety of contract types including time & material, unit-based, and lump sum contracts. This dynamic program can be adjusted for a variety of tasks and purposes within the workspace. Forester’s flexible software allows electric companies to coordinate contractors in the field with managers in the office. Our desktop web portal communicates smoothly with the mobile field client side of the Forester software, enabling seamless, integrated workflow management.
Utility vegetation management is an essential part of a company’s work. Forester helps our customers maintain budget flexibility, justify hours spent, and generate detailed reports on processes and costs. Forester helps maintain accurate information, manage the trim cycle from start to finish, and keep your budget and cost data up to date.
