Overview

We are 3D geospatial specialists based on our unparalleled expertise and domain knowledge in the use of ArcGIS CityEngine a powerful 3D Procedural Modeller and ArcGIS Pro. We offer a full range of services from high quality visualisation, project based support, training, custom rule and python scripting.  We also run a series of CityEngine training events called 3DPathFinder.

We conduct a variety of CityEngine training courses from our home base in Sedbergh as well as Lancaster University.   We were the first to offer ArcGIS CityEngine training worldwide, and we’ve been doing project work with it since 2009.  Since 2013 we have been conducting formal CityEngine training courses for a wide range of clients.

Garsdale Design is a proud Esri Partner and EsriUK’s official CityEngine training provider here in the UK.   We provide ArcGIS CityEngine training through worldwide with the help of our partners as well as Esri Distributors (currently GISTEC and EsriUK).

3D GIS, Geodesign and Procedural Modelling Consultancy 
Our 3D GIS services are based on our professional use of tools like ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS CityEngine in Architecture and City Master Planning projects.  From workflow advice, knowledge transfer, to project support we can help.

3D Custom Web Applications
3D GIS is not just about data!  Publishing data for use by stakeholders in interactive web applications can aid understanding and boost engagement.   If you require custom 3D web applications, we can help from simple Esri web application templates to truly custom applications using the Esri JavaScript API.

3D Data Service
3D related workflows for ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online. ‘3D building streaming data’ service.  We provide a number of 3D city datasets from our data partners, either via ArcGIS Marketplace or setup on your ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise & Portal appliances.
