ArcGIS StoryMaps Pricing

Create inspiring, immersive stories by combining text, interactive maps, and other multimedia content with ArcGIS StoryMaps. Publish and share your story with people in your organization or everyone around the world.

To get started with ArcGIS StoryMaps, the Creator or GIS Professional Basic user type is required. Additional users at your organization can create stories with the Storyteller user type.

Create and share stories

The Creator user type, a foundational user type, allows users to create maps, perform spatial analyses, and share their results in a variety of ready-to-use apps including ArcGIS StoryMaps. Since a foundational user type is required to activate and administer ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise, this is the most common way organizations get started with ArcGIS StoryMaps.

Make and share advanced GIS content

The GIS Professional Basic user type, a foundational user type, allows users to build advanced maps and perform visualizations and analyses using ArcGIS Pro, the professional desktop GIS software. ArcGIS Pro also includes ArcGIS StoryMaps, which easily allows advanced users to share results with stakeholders.

Additional ArcGIS StoryMaps access

ArcGIS StoryMaps is included in ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Pro accounts. The Storyteller user type extends access to ArcGIS StoryMaps to those who only want to create and publish stories. Please contact your administrator to purchase a license for the Storyteller user type.
