Esri Advantage Program—Advisor Services

About the Program

The Esri Advantage Program—Advisor Services Program ("Program") is a firm fixed price 12-month service that helps clients maximize the impact and effectiveness of their investment in Esri technology. This Program is a collaborative engagement between Esri and a client, providing access to Esri experts that can help a client define and document a plan of action to execute a geospatial strategy for one department or business unit. This offering is only available to national government customers through the US General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule.

This Program is not designed for Esri to provide project or technical consulting services such as solution design, implementation, or development.

How it works

During the term of the Program, clients will receive the following:

  • Monthly business and technical updates

    The advisor will provide monthly business and technical updates on topics that will include the following:

    • Trends/patterns in GIS related to client's industry/work
    • Relevant Esri technology highlights and product information
    • Esri product release schedule
    • Recommendations on next steps

  • Planning meeting

    The planning meeting will be held for one day and conducted at Esri's headquarters in Redlands, an Esri regional office, or on-site at the client's facility. The meeting is coordinated and attended by the advisor and the client's Esri account team, who will invite other Esri technical and business staff, as appropriate. 

    Prior to the planning meeting, the advisor will prepare a draft and a final planning meeting agenda with up to one iteration of client feedback.

  • Work plan

    The planning meeting provides essential input to the advisor as the client's work plan is developed. The work plan is a document that includes the following:

    • Client's prioritized business goals and objectives
    • High-level scope of work descriptions of up to 10 services activities
    • Recommended schedule for priority services activities
    • A prioritized matrix of prospective services activities

  • Training plan

    Following the planning meeting, an Esri training consultant will provide up to one remote follow-up meeting to finalize recommendations to support up to three key business goals in a training plan that includes the following:

    • Recommended training activities for a single department or business unit of up to 150 staff
    • Recommended schedule for priority training activities with consideration for prerequisites and execution of the client's organizational mission
       

    The training plan will not exceed 10 pages. Esri will deliver draft and final versions of the initial training plan release with up to one iteration of client feedback following the draft version.

  • Technology webcasts

    Each quarter, Esri will provide an email invitation to the client to access exclusive webinar content designed to provide insights into technology updates and to be inspired by other subscribers' success stories. This content may be accessed by anyone within the client's organization.
