World-changing apps built with game-changing tech

Sometimes, the best way to make a difference is to do things differently. Esri and TechCrunch called on developers around the world to imagine new approaches to our most pressing global challenges, from the climate crisis and fossil fuels to COVID-19 and social inequity. Participants applied our best technologies to their innovative ideas in support of a more sustainable future.

All participants received free access to ArcGIS Platform, a comprehensive suite of developer tools from Esri, to build their projects. Winners will be announced at TechCrunch's Disrupt 2021 conference on September 23.
