Mapping and Analyzing Health Equity with GIS Apps
Join the Esri health and human services team for this inaugural meetup, the first in an ongoing series of focused meetups designed to help ArcGIS users leverage location intelligence to solve pressing health issues.
Mapping and analyzing the social determinants of health are the first steps toward making data-driven decisions to improve health access and outcomes. Ensuring adequate access to health services requires organizations to understand the communities they serve. Once populations are understood, the process of optimizing the delivery and placement of health services is enhanced with a location-based approach.
The meetup will include tutorial-style demonstrations, examples, and discussions designed to help ArcGIS users understand multiple components of the ArcGIS platform to analyze and optimize access to services across the communities they serve.
Specifically, you'll learn how to
- Complete an accessibility analysis using ArcGIS Pro.
- Explore typical datasets related to homelessness and the opioid epidemic using Insights for ArcGIS.
- Run a site suitability analysis in ArcGIS Community Analyst.
The webinar is September 27th, at 11 AM PT.
See how you can maximize health equity within your community.
