Secure Infrastructure Using Geospatial Data
Protecting and securing critical infrastructure and facilities are paramount to any nation's safety, security, and economic stability. GIS has long been viewed as a platform to support security workflows at local, state, and national levels. The objective of this webinar, however, will be to apply these principles at a different scale—the campus level. Universities, business parks, high schools, entertainment districts, casinos, sports stadiums, military bases, and large government facilities all often possess the self-contained aspects of a large community. Whether dealing with a terrorist attack or a natural disaster, a nation's key resources remain essential to the normal operations of its economy, government, and way of life. As we prepare for the new normal, prevention and response at the campus level (both indoors and outdoors) are necessities in the complex security environment we live in today.
