Learning and Services Credits

Learning and Services Credits are intended to provide a means for the customer’s organization to execute activities defined in the Work Plan. These activities may include focused consulting services, training, managed cloud services, and premium support services to address specific objectives. An associated Learning and Services Credit value is assigned to each activity, per the table below:

*These credit values are only available to customer locations within the continental United States and Hawaii and assume the purchase of two or more consecutive days of training. These offerings can be provided outside of the continental United States and Hawaii and/or for one-day quantities for a custom quoted price.

Purchase of Additional Learning and Services Credits

Advantage Program customers may purchase, for an added cost, extra Learning and Services Credits in blocks of 50 credits. When supplementary Learning and Services Credits are purchased, Esri recommends adding additional advisor hours.
Learning and Services Credit expiration

Unused Learning and Services Credits expire 24 months from purchase or 1 month after the Advantage Program subscription ends, whichever occurs first. If the Advantage Program agreement ends (excluding default), unused credits expire in 1 month, and advisor services will not be available.
Monthly reporting

Esri will provide a monthly report outlining usage of Advantage Program Learning and Services Credits to the customer’s selected point of contact.
Current on maintenance

Each Advantage Program customer is required to remain current on standard maintenance fees during the term of the Advantage Program agreement. Standard maintenance is described at esri.com/legal, which may be changed from time-to-time.
Authorization of Learning and Services Credit use

Customers contact the account manager or advisor to consume Learning and Services Credits. Esri provides customers with a Learning and Services Credit estimate to confirm credit use. Customers must authorize the use of credits for work to commence.
Travel and per diem

Customers may direct Esri to use Learning and Services Credits for travel and per diem expenses. Alternatively, customers may issue a separate purchase order and Esri will provide a separate invoice for travel and per diem expenses.
When allocated credits are consumed

Esri notifies customers if all allocated Learning and Services Credits will be consumed prior to completion of the requested work. Customer may use additional available credits, procure additional credits, or request Esri to stop work once all credits are consumed.
Review of proposed activities

Any activities proposed under the Advantage Program will be subject to review and approval by Esri’s Advantage Program management team to ensure alignment with the intent of the program.

Technology webcasts

Customers have access to exclusive technology webcasts. Learn how Esri software provides an immediate impact on business practices. Technical specialists and product managers deliver technology topics relevant to the Esri platform and enterprise GIS.
Subscription renewals

The Advantage Program is a subscription-based program that renews on an annual basis. Customers may subscribe for multiple years. The Esri account manager will provide guidance on ordering instructions should a lapse in subscription renewal occur.
What a subscription does not cover

The Advantage Program is not designed to provide project deliverables. The program provides general technical advisory and consulting services support only, and any project-related activities will be defined, priced, and scheduled separately.
