Storytelling with Maps

Storytelling with maps and place-based information is an immersive, interactive way to engage with audiences and reveal complex patterns and connections in a visual, easy-to-understand language. Join colleagues from Direct Relief, YMCA of the USA, and Self-Represented Litigation Network as they share how storytelling with maps engages, informs, and inspires internal and external audiences such as board members, humanitarian response professionals, and communities in need. Meet Andrew Schroeder, vice president of research and analysis at Direct Relief; Maria-Alicia Serrano, senior director of research, analytics, and insights at YMCA of the USA; and Alison Davis-Holland, cartography and story maps lead at Self-Represented Litigation Network.
