Miami-Dade County provides seamless services for 2.7 million residents

Miami-Dade County has partnered with Esri since 1987, building up GIS into a centralized system with nearly 500 applications across 25 departments.

The technology supports critical functions and major initiatives—like No Wrong Door, which equips residents with interactive maps and AI chatbots to find essential services in their neighborhoods and in government buildings. The county’s ongoing partnership with Esri drives innovation in infrastructure, public services, and disaster response.

BUSINESS

Marriott International manages risk across 9,000 properties in 139 countries

Marriott International partnered with Esri Professional Services to create Risk Atlas. This easy-to-understand dashboard helps executives make informed decisions by showing everything from geopolitical risks to weather events to crime trends.

The Risk Atlas also tracks the carbon footprint of each property, supporting Marriott’s commitment to reduce its carbon footprint by 50 percent by 2030 and achieve net zero emissions by 2050.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

NOAA forecasts the future with over 100 climate visualizations

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is the only federal agency tasked with climate prediction. Together with Esri Professional Services, they built the Climate Mapping for Resilience and Adaptation (CMRA) portal.

The portal provides unprecedented access to nationwide climate data, empowering community and business leaders to make better decisions about where and how to take action. Users can see where there are extreme heat advisories, active wildfires, coastal flooding warnings, and more.

ConocoPhillips expands GIS to more than 35 business functions

ConocoPhillips has been using location technology for over 30 years. Working closely with Esri Professional Services, they successfully modernized their GIS, improving efficiency and decision-making across global enterprise operations.

Today, their GIS is connected to 10 other systems including business intelligence and SCADA. More than 50 solutions are deployed and operational across business units including health, safety, and environment (HSE); finance; and sustainable development.

Southern California Association of Governments collects data across 38,000 square miles

When the largest metropolitan planning organization in the US needed help with data collection and management, it turned to Esri Professional Services.

Through a multiyear project, Esri experts helped the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) modernize its Regional Data Platform. The update streamlined data management and collection across 191 cities and six counties, greatly increasing efficiency, data accuracy, and trust with local partners.
