Esri Showcases Start-ups at Street Fight Summit West

Redlands, California—Start-ups will talk about all things hyperlocal at Street Fight Summit West on June 3, and Esri will be there to showcase some of the people using Esri’s ArcGIS platform.

"The next chapter in local marketing is all about contextual awareness. Location and maps have a huge role to play here," said Jim Young, Esri business development lead. "We will be at Street Fight Summit West to promote three start-ups that have partnered with Esri, before they become household names. We also want to show how easy it is to add location and geofencing to apps using Esri Geotrigger Service, and our other developer tools."

The following companies will be included in the Esri Start-up Showcase at Street Fight Summit West:

thrdPlace: thrdPlace is an online collaboration toolkit that helps people map a community project location; share their story; mobilize fellow community members to action; and raise the funds, supplies, and volunteers needed to get things done. thrdPlace is designed to bring together local citizens, city governments, nonprofits, and companies to meet local needs.

Venyoo: Venyoo created StadiumApps to help fans stay connected while attending a game. Have food delivered and browse team merchandise without missing any of the action. Get directions within the stadium and perform searches based on location. Compete against other fans with games and trivia, and even chat with a stadium concierge.

PromoJam: PromoJam, recently acquired by Deluxe Corporation, is one of the world’s leading social media marketing software platforms. It provides businesses with a full suite of tools to easily build, launch, track, and promote social media promotions across Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
