Esri Sponsors 2016 Code for America Summit

Redlands, California—Global smart mapping leader Esri will continue its long-standing support of Code for America by sponsoring the 2016 Code for America Summit, which will take place November 1 to 3, in Oakland, California.

Each year, Code for America brings together leaders in the civic technology community to discuss the new ways technology tools can innovate the services that government agencies offer. Esri supports Code for America and its mission to find simple, effective solutions that can scale to build healthy, prosperous, and safe communities around the country.

Andrew Turner of Esri’s R&D Lab in Washington, D.C., will discuss how location-based technology can spur greater collaboration between government officials and their constituents. Esri experts will be on hand to demonstrate Esri solutions, including the GeoHub.

Attendees will learn about Esri’s forward-looking approach to government technology and how easy it is to deploy Esri’s market-leading solutions in governments of all sizes.
