Business Partner Conference Recognitions

With record attendance of more than 850 Esri Business Partners from around the world, the 2001 Esri Worldwide Business Partner Conference was a huge success. Held in Palm Springs, March 18-20, 2001, partners had the opportunity to network with other partners and Esri staff, hear the latest on Esri technology, and more.

Esri would like to acknowledge the dedication and commitment of our more than 1,200 Business partners who strive to help Esri bring the best GIS technology to our users. The continued support of Esri Business partners has enabled Esri to become what we are today, the world's leading provider of GIS software.

This year at the 2001 Worldwide Business Partner Conference, 48 partner companies were honored for their excellence and accomplishments as Business partners. Awards were given in the following categories:

  • Partner of the Year recognizes the partner who has teamed with Esri successfully on a project, worked well with the regional office or international distributor, brought Esri into a new market with their specialized knowledge and expertise, etc.
  • New Partner of the Year is the same as above but honors the company that has been an Esri partner for two years or less.
  • Foundation Partner of the Year recognizes the partner that through hard work and dedication has consistently built a very strong, dependable relationship with Esri. This partner is one of the foundation blocks from which Esri's strong Business Partner Program is built.
