This quarterly magazine was started in response to requests from the Esri user community for more technical information. ArcUser is a forum for users of Esri software to share their expertise.

The magazine was conceived as a source of practical, technical information on how GIS can be used to bettersolve problems, provide services not previously possible, cut costs, and improve the efficiency of operations. We will also include stories about usergroups, reviews of GIS publications, and listings of new authorized instructors and learning centers.

ArcUser is mailed to all registered users of Esri software in the United States. Outside the United States, ArcUser is distributed through Esri's network of worldwide distributors. U.S. users may now register online for an ArcUser subscription. See the Advertising pages for rates, deadlines, and ad sizes for advertising in ArcUser.

ArcUser focuses on you, the user. Many stories in ArcUser are written by our readers. The Writer's Guidelines and the Graphic Guidelines give specific information on and deadlines for submitting an article to the publication. Please read these guidelines before writing or calling about a proposed article.
