Applied Ecology, Inc. is a dedicated, woman- and minority-owned small business with over 100 years of combined specialized experience in numerical and ecosystem modeling, study design, geospatial project management, remote sensing, geotechnical services and statistical analyses for resolving a multitude of environmental problems. We focus on serving public clients in environmental resource management, ecological studies, water resources, stormwater, and utilities. AEI has the experience and skills to plan and implement large-scale and long-term studies that cross multiple disciplines and integrate spatial and temporal datasets. We provide technical services that include water quality data collection, environmental assessments, soil analysis, regional sand management, shoreline change analysis, offshore sand source exploration, as well as watershed and groundwater modeling, 2D and 3D numerical modeling, data and database management, high-level spatial and statistical analyses, web interface design, and software development. In 2019, Applied Ecology merged with Scientific Environmental Applications (SEA), an environmental and geotechnical services firm with 30 years of project experience in Florida, the Caribbean, and along the US Atlantic and Gulf Coasts. As a Certified Geologist Business, AEI can now provide a full-range of complementary services to federal, municipal, and private companies that include 2-D and 3-D Numerical Modeling and Geotechnical Services.
