Overview
We founded Applied Ocean Sciences to solve the world’s ocean-related problems. We believe in creating a safer, more prosperous ocean system through our work in homeland security and national defense, and in protecting and preserving the world’s oceans for future generations through environmental conservation. We focus our conservation efforts on: ocean plastics, noise pollution, Illegal Unregulated and Undocumented (IUU) fishing, global ocean warming, ocean acidification, sea ice loss, sea level rise, mangrove deforestation, coral reef loss, noise pollution, and invasive species. We provide secure expert scientific research for difficult and complex problems, along with instrument development and technical support in ocean sciences, with an emphasis on computational physics, acoustics, physical oceanography, and marine biology. Our customers include the US Navy, the conservation community, and the environmental science industry.
