Overview
BIS Consult helps public-sector estates make better decisions through Indoor GIS and spatial intelligence.
We connect information about buildings, spaces, assets and operations within a shared spatial view. Using ArcGIS and ArcGIS Indoors, we transform disconnected floor plans, BIM models and estates data into accessible, floor-aware maps, applications and decision-support tools.
Our multidisciplinary team combines geospatial technology, estates expertise, data engineering and user-centred design. We support clients from business case, strategy and data governance through to data creation, system integration, implementation, training and ongoing support.
Working primarily with NHS organisations, universities and other complex estates, we help clients improve space utilisation and capacity, manage risk and compliance, strengthen asset performance and maintenance, and understand energy and sustainability performance.
Our experience includes delivering a major spatial data and digital estates programme for Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, covering more than 600 buildings. We also develop BIS Lens, our spatial estate intelligence software, which helps estates teams visualise, analyse and act on complex property, asset and operational data.
As an Esri partner, we help organisations extend location intelligence indoors, establish a reliable spatial foundation for their estates information and realise greater value from ArcGIS.

Overview:
BIS Consult provides Indoor GIS consultancy, implementation, data engineering and software solutions for organisations managing complex estates and campuses.
We create connected spatial models that bring together floor plans, spaces, assets and operational data, helping estates and facilities teams understand how their buildings are used and performing.
Our services include:
• Indoor GIS strategy, requirements definition and business case development
• Creation of floor-aware GIS models from CAD drawings, BIM models and estates records
• ArcGIS Indoors configuration and implementation
• Spatial data migration, management and governance
• Integration with asset, maintenance, compliance, occupancy, timetabling, booking and energy systems
• Development of maps, dashboards, applications and decision-support tools
• Training, knowledge transfer, technical support and managed services
• Tailored spatial software and BIS Lens implementation
We apply these capabilities across four areas: space utilisation and capacity, helping clients unlock capacity and avoid unnecessary capital investment; risk and compliance, improving visibility and assurance; asset performance and maintenance, supporting better planning and investment; and energy and sustainability, helping organisations understand performance and reduce consumption.
Our services range from focused advisory and data projects to Indoor GIS implementation and ongoing support.
