Crime Analysis Tools (CAT) is an ArcGIS for Desktop extension designed to enable both new and experienced law enforcement professionals to analyze crime and calls for service data within the Esri environment. Custom wizards guide users through the creation of pin maps, density/hot spot analysis, graph and map creation and more. Store routine queries so that periodic reports and graphs of crime statistics are easily generated. Managing and maintaining your data is greatly simplified with CAT. Configure new data sources for import, create custom code tables with unique symbology and schedule updates using the DMC utility. Automated imports streamline the process of pulling and geocoding multiple datasets for storage in a file or enterprise geodatabase. Data sources can be scheduled individually to update, providing more real-time critical data to analysts or insupport of web-based crime mapping with Crime iMAP.
