Buffalo Computer Graphics (BCG) is a veteran-owned, privately held US small business incorporated in the State of New York in 1982. BCG has four primary business areas - Maritime Training Solutions, Incident Management Systems, Mass Notification Systems, and Custom Hardware & Software Engineering. BCG provides software and engineering solutions to the Homeland Security and Maritime Industries. The DisasterLAN Crisis Incident Management System is a COTS solution developed and marketed by BCG to local, state, and federal customers as well as to the private sector. DisasterLAN is typically used in an emergency operations center to provide situational awareness, a common operational picture, and all of the tools necessary to track, share and manage information and tasks related to emergency management and response. The DLAN solution can also be used for event management and day-to-day operations.
BCG also provides large-scale mass notification solutions to customers in all business sectors. Our high-resiliency notification systems are designed for deployment at a state or federal level, but still work well for smaller installations on a local or regional level. The mass notification tool provides for reverse 9-1-1 notifications as well as user-initiated subscription sign-up for targeted alerts. Notifications can be sent out via numerous gateways including phone, SMS, email, fax, Twitter, IPAWS (cellular broadcasting), Emergency Alerting System (EAS), and numerous other gateways. BCG offers both web-based and mobile solutions.
Our maritime division develops and markets navigation and communication simulators for the maritime industry. These training systems can be installed in a classroom or onboard a ship and include radar and communications simulation.
