CompassData has long been recognized as the world’s leading provider of global ground control data and a trustworthy provider of aviation geospatial data. Since 1994 CDI’s mission has been to map the world and provide consistent, quality, off the shelf survey data at an affordable price. We understand our clients’ need for high accuracy data to support the enhancement of their imagery, LiDAR or geospatial products. We provide aviation products which are FAA DO-200A qualified and we have received ISO 9001:2008 Certification for our Quality Management Systems. CompassData has archived tens of thousands of Ground Control Points (GCPs) across six continents which are available for immediate delivery. These GCPs are utilized for a variety of purposes including imagery orthorectification, Airport Mapping Data Base (AMDB) production, LiDAR control, ground truth verification and sensor calibration. GCPs are available in four levels of accuracy to support multiple sensor requirements. We have the solution for space based sensor calibration or verification. CompassData also provides geospatial verification services. CompassV&V software tools are available to support automated quality control of imagery or LiDAR products. CompassData strives to exceed the expectations of our clients and increase our role within the geospatial community. We have expanded our services to include oil and gas surveys, Unmanned Aircraft System imagery collection and web map hosting.
