EastPoint is a Halifax-based, fully integrated multi-discipline architecture and engineering consultancy organization that remains privately owned and is the successor of the former Whitman Benn. EastPoint delivers professional services that cover all types of infrastructure and facility projects including planning, design, revitalizations, renovations, marine engineering, building condition assessments, energy audits, LEED® facilitation, energy modeling, preparation of construction drawings and specifications, tender and construction support, as well as building systems and envelope commissioning and functional testing for LEED® projects. EastPoint’s current staff composition of over 65 professionals includes Senior Architects, Civil, Marine, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Municipal Engineers with a complement of CAD and Administration support staff. EastPoint is noted for its ability to manage a Total Project Team from within its own staff and selected sub consultants. Our approach to the implementation of projects and leveraging our local in-house team has proven many times to be superior in lowering costs, maintaining schedules, improving communications, and ensuring quality for our clients. EastPoint is a quality-oriented firm practicing to ISO 9001 Standards and developing detailed and complex Building Information Modelling (BIM), 3D Modeling, Leica Portable Scanning services and CAD packages.
