Ferber Engineering Company, Inc. (FEC) was founded in 1991 as a civil engineering consulting firm specializing in water resources, transportation, utilities and land surveying. As computing technology advanced, Ferber Engineering Company, Inc. recognized GIS as a tool that could greatly enhance clients’ and its own workflows, processes and decision-making capabilities. GIS has been incorporated into the Company’s daily workflows and is relied upon heavily for surveying, design, construction administration and analysis. Because Ferber Engineering Company, Inc. has been so proactive in partnering GIS with its engineering and surveying services, it expanded its services to also offer GIS-specific expertise.
