ICEYE’s Flood Rapid Impact (FRI) delivers the ability to quickly track water movement from space. FRI provides updated flood extent every six hours with SAR-based evidence, allowing customers to see event evolution through regular updates. This helps support ongoing response efforts and fast intelligence for exposure management platforms, as well as claims and underwriting systems. The speed and accuracy of FRI provides users with a new level of actionable flood intelligence, supporting more informed and immediate decision-making. Users have an almost instant understanding of the scope of a flood event, including where water is currently or at a given point in the past. FRI provides snapshots in time with data showing where the water is at the time of release, based on indications of water presence in the SAR imagery.
