Overview
JeffCity is a single-member LLC that is exploring opportunities for teaching and implementing geovisualization processes using procedural modeling in ESRI CityEngine. The target audiences are: architecture, engineering, design and planning firms and organizations who may benefit from using this style of visual communication, and educational institutions who want to apply this technology to instruction and research in the same areas. Geovisualization is an effective communication tool that can engage people and produce better living environments across the social and economic spectrum, using high-tech and low-tech data gathering approaches. A particular challenge is to extend the reach of these benefits to places and people who are typically ignored. Jeff Herzer is an experienced, geoenabled communicator with a background in broadcast journalism and in producing digital media supporting public outreach for major transportation projects across the U.S.
