Linking SMEs to Mining Companies solution aimed to foster connections and business opportunities in Sierra Leone's mining sector by understanding local suppliers' identities, locations, capabilities, and challenges. Key tasks included developing an online SME database system with an integrated management web portal, which now contains information on over 260 SMEs and 6 mining companies. The system allows users to view, search, and register new SMEs and mining companies, facilitating communication and collaboration between them. Additionally, it enables the Sierra Leone Local Content Agency (SLLCA) to interact directly with SMEs via SMS and displays the locations of registered entities through a ArcGIS Pro and Google Map interface.
