MineLife is a software platform that fuses complex geospatial and mine planning data into an interactive virtual replica of the planned, current, and future states of a mine site. Applications of the platform can be run on desktop, VR headsets, and Microsoft Hololens. The MineLife platform represents the first time that such large, complex, and vast spatial data has been successful synthesized into an interactive multi-user MR/VR experience. MineLife enables mining companies’ engineers, executives, and external stakeholders to immerse themselves in the mine plan, and interact with it through all the years of its life cycle; whether thousands of feet in the air, or down on the ground as if visiting in person. In addition, any number of data sets from industry-standard software packages (ore bodies, drill holes, pit shells etc.), infrastructure details (tailings, roads, power lines), labels, and explanatory content can be layered on top of the geography for added utility.
