D-gen is the technological core on which our ESRI-based solutions are built and which enables us to flexibly and efficiently develop new project and product solutions. D-gen is a development framework for sophisticated applications with or without a database connection. A key element of this environment is our Microsoft Visio plug-in, which generates from a logical UML data model .NET source code. The physical data model is synchronized with the logical data model via D-gen. The consistency between the known data model in the source code and the physical data model is therefore guaranteed.
