NatureServe's Environmental Review Tool (ERT) provides a highly configurable, custom solution for state natural resource agencies to automate and streamline the environmental review process through online project submission and coordinated agency reviews. The ERT provides secure, web-enabled access to geospatial environmental and conservation project review functionality, and it can be customized to meet agency-specific business rules and workflows. This flexible tool also promotes proactive conservation planning to enhance the conservation of lands and habitats for maintaining or rebuilding natural biodiversity. State agencies can also use the ERT to advance and implement priorities in their State Wildlife Action Plans.
