Overview
Pentex Srl is an Italian IT company founded on 1998 in Rivarolo Canavese (where it is located), near Turin, to lead the customers to use new technologies. Pentex has two main developing sectors: • Geographical Information Systems • Electronic Document Management Systems In GIS (Geographical Information Systems) sector Pentex has acquired high skills in logistics and environmental monitoring. Below few applications done by Pentex with ESRI technology: • Software for efficient management of waste collection with GIS technology (called Octopus); • GIS system for the environmental monitoring plan of the XX Olympic winter games – TORINO 2006. • Census and visualization of company’s equipments on cartography. We developed a procedure to use PDA with GPS for the census. In EDM Pentex is Value Added Reseller of Laserfiche. This software can be integrated with Esri product to develop a GIS with document management like cadastral applications for municipality.
