PhotoSat has invented a process that generates the world’s most accurate satellite topographic mapping. This 30cm accuracy and engineering quality data shortens timelines and eliminates surveying delays in all phases of resource and engineering projects. Our clients are using satellite topography as a cost-effective alternative to ground surveying and airborne LiDAR mapping. The data is used for mine site mapping in all 7 of the Alberta oil sands mines, and some are mapped biweekly. We are creating digital topographic maps with better than 30cm elevation accuracy, verified by tens of thousands of ground survey points and high quality LiDAR survey mapping. We have completed over 500 international highly accurate topographic mapping projects.
